class astropy.modeling.optimizers.Simplex[source] [edit on github]

Bases: astropy.modeling.optimizers.Optimization

Neald-Mead (downhill simplex) algorithm [1].

This algorithm only uses function values, not derivatives. Uses scipy.optimize.fmin.
