Use VDAT ******** Launch VDAT =========== Launching ``VDAT`` is easy:: vdat [-h] [--rawdir RAWDIR] vdat_setting.cfg The configuration file ``vdat_setting.cfg``, together with any other file needed by ``VDAT``, is shipped with the code and can be retrieved using the ``vdat_config`` command :doc:`described here `. The value of ``--rawdir`` should be the name of a directory containing fits files organized according VIRUS standards as in :ref:`raw_dir`. If provided the fits files in ``RAWDIR`` are symlinked into a ``redux`` directory, defined in the ``vdat_setting.cfg`` file, described in :ref:`redux_dir`. If the ``--rawdir`` is not provided, it will look for the ``redux`` directory. It it doesn't exist, the execution aborts. .. warning:: Currently this is the only way to feed data into VDAT.
