 The etallon is brighter than the LFC so if you take an exposure longer than 150 seconds with the etallon open you will likely saturate the detector.  Thus, do not use the etallon during an observation unless the exposures are less than 150 seconds.    Instead, taken an single etallon before and after each HPF observation.
