TOManual/stack2
v2 v3 31 31 When the focus curve says FINISHED, write down the ee50, ee80, Hefi focus and 32 32 MARS FOCUS. There are two places to read these values. One is in the window that was calculating the focus curve and the other is in the Hefi Focus Curve GUI on the bottom. Take the better of the two. An ee50 below 0.65 is satisfactory. If that value is above 0.65 and the weather conditions were not binding, you should go back and do a few more iterations if there is time. NOTE this time as the FINISHED TIME. (If this is the first stack of the night, the end time should be before 18 degree). 33 34 8) Once you're finished with the iterations, press the image sequence button on HEFI. In the window that pops up, change the name of the sequence to sequenceX where X is the number of the stack (e.g. sequence2 for the second stack, etc.). Then change the number in the start box to 1, count to 30, and delay to 2. Press start and wait for the window to say 'IDLE'. 35 36 9) Once the sequence window says 'IDLE' then go over to the wavescope terminal. Put in 'Hanshin30' and watch the numbers as they ouput onto the screen to make sure they're good. 33 37 34 38 35 8) Turn off the HEFI light source, close the CCAS shutter, move HEFI mirror OUT and39 10) Turn off the HEFI light source, close the CCAS shutter, move HEFI mirror OUT and 36 40 select Video Channel 7, which displays the CCAM (Chevo-CAM) alongside the text version of the local weather on the large overhead video screen. The HEFI light is pretty expensive, so turning it off as soon as you do not need it is pretty important. 37 41 38 42 39 9) Inform the RA you are now ready for a science target.43 11) Inform the RA you are now ready for a science target.
