Log onto Jove, user interface display, initialize a session with Smoke, and initialize PMCS
and PMUI.

| Dome Chiller Startup and Monitoring |
Check the chiller system state, startup of the system if not already operating, monitor
inside/outside temperatures using the SWAG.

| Air Startup |
Check air system state, start quincy compressor, and start air dryer.
|
| Exterior Visual Inspection |
Inspect facility grounds including: weather station and tower, GTAG, air handling units,
glycol system, emergency generator, chiller plant and pumps, heat pump, and check for visitors.

| Glycol Startup |
Power up the glycol system, check flow rate, and inspect dome interior for obvious leaks.
|
| Interior Visual Inspection |
Inspect dome floors, sweep the pier, restart SPS; and inspect spectrograph room, lower/upper
electrical rooms, and mezzanine.
|
| Operational Tests – Dome Rotation and Dome Shutter |
Test dome rotation and test operation of the dome shutter.
|
| Operational Tests – Cameras and PFIP Slide |
Check operation of the PFIP slide, non-MPP and MPP cameras, and the sensys camera.
Initialize MARS software.
|
| TCS and Tracker Initialization |
Bring up TCS, power up the tracker, enable and test the structure, and perform an initialize search of the tracker.
|
| SAMS Startup and Calscreen Check |
Start SAMS server and SAMS graphical user interface; test operation of the calibration screen.
|
| Open Dome |
Open the dome and CCAS shutters, shutdown chiller and open RWV louvers.
